What is SmartClip™?
When you wear traditional metal braces, a thin wire goes through each bracket to keep them together and help apply pressure to your teeth. Many patients also wear small rubber bands attached to the outside of the brackets for the same reason. The rubber bands are not necessary when Dr. Goshgarian places SmartClip™ self-litigating braces on your teeth instead.
SmartClip™ comes with a clip or moveable door that attach to the arch wire in your braces. Dr. Goshgarian continues to adjust your arch wires at each appointment, but the process produces less discomfort because of your SmartClip™ brackets.

While frequent appointments are necessary during orthodontic treatment, SmartClip™ makes the visits shorter. Dr. Goshgarian adjusts your braces by opening and shutting the brackets.
